This is basically unprocessed stress that gets stored in your nervous system. Over time, your window of tolerance gets smaller and smaller, meaning you get triggered into that anxious, wired state more easily and stay there longer.
This isn't something you should be able to think your way out of. It's a physiological response that needs body-based solutions.
