When your sense of self worth comes from your output, it will never feel like ‘enough’.
From a young age, I associated my worth with what I achieved. I had supportive parents with high expectations, and that drive helped me succeed academically and athletically. What I didn’t realize at the time was that I was also learning to tie my sense of safety and self-worth to performance.
That pattern followed me into adulthood.
In my first job in New York City, I worked 12+ hour days, slept very little, and didn’t prioritize my health. I equated being thin with being healthy, even as my body was clearly struggling. I dealt with painful periods, bloating, and constant digestive issues. I lived in extremes — always “on” and pushing, or completely depleted and numbing out. Stress felt normal. Slowing down felt uncomfortable.
I didn’t recognize it then, but my nervous system had learned to live under constant pressure.
About ten years later, eight months postpartum, that pressure finally caught up with me.
My resilience was gone. Everything felt triggering. I was exhausted physically, emotionally, and mentally, and eventually needed to take medical leave from work.
I started with talk therapy. I read the books. I listened to the podcasts. I focused on rebuilding the foundations — nourishing my physical body with whole foods, sleep, and gentle movement. Those things helped, especially being removed from the environment that fueled the pressure. But when I returned to work, the same patterns came rushing back.
That’s when it became clear that awareness alone wasn’t enough. Something deeper needed to change.
I was really tired and frustrated of feeling ‘stuck’.
I discovered EFT Tapping and nervous system work listening to a podcast. At the time, I felt so desperate that I immediately found and invested in an EFT Tapping practitioner to begin 1:1 work. The shifts were immediate and tangible. For the first time, I wasn’t just understanding my patterns, I was actually changing how I responded emotionally.
We would work through something in a session, and the next day I noticed less emotional overwhelm, more space, and a different response to the same triggers. Over time, EFT and other nervous-system-based practices helped me build resilience, expand my capacity, and release long-held beliefs I had carried since childhood.
I felt steadier. More present. More able to pause and choose how I wanted to respond instead of reacting automatically.
That experience changed my life and it’s what led me to pursue certification in EFT tapping. I wanted to support other women in doing the kind of deep, embodied work that goes beyond insight and actually changes how you feel, respond, and show up in your life.
The Work I Do Now
I work with women who carry a lot of pressure. High expectations. Internal drive. A constant sense that they need to keep it together, do more, or get it right. This often shows up as chronic stress, overstimulation in motherhood, or self-doubt and imposter syndrome during a life or career transition.
I bring both lived experience and professional training into this work. I’ve spent hundreds of hours learning, practicing, and using the tools that helped me shift my own patterns, and I bring that experience into my work with clients with care and clarity.
My training & credentials include:
Trauma-Informed Certified Level 1 & 2 EFT Tapping Practitioner
Trauma-Informed Certified Master Level 3 EFT Tapping Practitioner
Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor
Certified Integrative Health Coach
Specializations:
EFT for Inner Child Healing
EFT for Shadow Healing
